may 13 (sorry its late)

In class today we continued to watch Solomon Northup's Odyssey

Thursday May 14

In class today we continued to watch Solomon Northup's Odyssey. It got really juicy when Solomon kissed another woman and beat his master with a whip (not the nice master). His current master then had to sell him to a man who lives on a cotton plantation. In his first moments there he runs into a character shown earlier in the movie, who looks wearied and tired. This foreshadows what could possibly happen to Solomon.
