It's interesting to know and learn about the Patawomeck tribe which once lived in Stafford near us. Patawomeck tribe must have passed through harsh conditions without food but still survived and kept Jamestown alive. Knowing that there is a museum for the artifacts of Patawomeck tribe i would be interested to go and visit there once. To know and discover this facts for our generation is amazing and also introduces the change America has been through as time passed such that racial and cultural issues now have their own essentials to society and community we belong to. With the help of individualism and tribal or cultural aspects we shape our everyday life which once the Patawomeck tribe did. Overall, it was good to know information on ancestors that belong to Stafford.
The Patawomeck tribe lived in Stafford? Wow, I didn't know such an important tribe lived near here. I agree with Hiral that the Patawomeck did help Jamestown by giving them food dispite the fact that they had their own harsh conditions. I agree with the article that the U.S. may have not been as it is today had the Patawomeck tribe. They, in a sense, had "saved" the potential America culture as we come to know it. It is essential to know that racial and cultural boundaries of the past did keep this knowledge unearthed until most recently. Still, it would be nice if the government would take more notice to this tribe and actually put more information on the Patawomeck Tribe. Overall, This was a good read and I hope to read more articles that uncovers our history
