WW1 Pictures
I really enjoyed looking at the World War 1 "Vintage Photographs". The site offered many photographs for you to look at, and I think the site made it very accessible to view the pictures. For example...After clicking on a subject on the right side of the web page, the site brings up a list of pictures with their descriptions. You are then able to view those pictures in a large image.
The topics of the photographs were very unique, likel Cathedrals & Churches and Postcards. Because the topics range from daily life to the actual war setting, you are able to practically see the war and view the images that the soldiers went through. Overall, I really like the "Vintage Photographs" page.

The Vintage Photographs were neat. I really liked the ones with the animals, for example the one with the dogs in the trenches or the naval pilot releasing a pigeon. I think the pictures allow us to how war life was, but also see the small things that went on in the war. It is amazing how much you can get from a picture. I think the pictures help allow us to understand war life and the effects of the war (like the weapons, chambers, etc.) I thought this section was pretty awesome too!
"A picture says a thousand words"...I think these pictures have a lot to say. They tell us a lot about what is was like back then during WWI and the effects of the war on different countries.
The vintage photograph page was pretty nice to take a look at as it helped to understand the daily aspect of life. The churches and cathedrals were pretty neat looking and also the use of animals during the war was a neat idea as well. Overall it was a good page to see how events were going on during WWI.
I liked the pics too. Anita put it best because pictures really do say it all.

I found this website very helpful as well. The website was very easy to look up things and I think this website could be a big help if we ever have a WWII project. The pictures and articles give alot of information on many topics that we rarely hear about in the textbook.
